Typical Maintenance Tasks

• Lobby: Sweeping and moping the front entrance, emptying garbage bins, dusting, tidying up meeting rooms and shared areas of the building.
• Elevators: Sweeping and moping, cleaning stainless steel, polishing chrome in elevator cabs.
• Washrooms: Sweeping and moping, emptying garbage bins, dusting glass and stainless steel.
• Gym: Sweeping and moping, dusting glass, wiping down all machines, emptying garbage bins.
• Floor maintenance: Sweeping, moping and/or vacuuming all floors and stairwells, light bulb replacement.

Examples of Regular Inspections and Other Activities

• Weekly: Inspecting drainage, mechanical equipment, and lighting. Discarding litter, purchasing supplies, monitoring tradesmen, reporting problems to the property manager, inspecting parking area, maintaining a log book of activities, maintaining pool, sauna, gym and other common areas of the building.
